How should you market your business on TikTok or Reels?

Most brands on TikTok or just plain bo-ring.

Lots of brands are too scared to anything remotely controversial. Not that you have to do controversial stuff to sell. (I mean bad advertisement is also advertisment I suppose...)

But many companies want to maintain their "perfect" image. As a result?

Most of the videos they post are interesting to the viewers. I basically just feel like ads. And we're already seeing enough ads on socials, right?

Here are a few examples of companies that I believe are excelling in the whole content-game:

Duolingo
Bose
RyanAir (Their bio literally states "catch flights, not feelings") 👀
Lenovo (They're also a master at using influencers the right way!)

So what makes them great?

They're not afraid to take risks and show some personality! Go check out their TikTok videos and you'll see what I mean.

People want to connect with your brand on a human level, not just be sold to.
Plus, perfect is overrated - imperfection is what makes us unique and relatable. Yes, you as a brand too. 😉
